This past Sunday, the bandshell in MacArthur Park was rocking with the good vibes of true-school Hip-Hop as West Coast legends and pioneers came out to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Radiotron, the first place for Hip-Hop in Los Angeles. B-boys and b-girls from J.U.i.C.E. joined in the festivities and represented the present-day flavor with an on-stage dance performance that brought down the house and got the party started. Shout-outs to Lil’ Cesar, Carmelo Alvarez and so many more folks that helped pave the way for Hip-Hop in the City of Angels. And, here’s to 30 more years to the legacy and work that is Radiotron.
